We are always looking for swimmers who would like to raise funds for charity. From a school swimming team to indiviuals swimmers.

Venue: Theatro, Montecasino, Tickets R550 or R450 per person. R100 of each ticket bought through The Village Safe Haven, is donated to our NPO.

Theme: In July every year, we invite you to celebrate Nelson Mandela International Day by making a difference in our community. Everyone has the ability and the responsibility to change the world for the better which works best when we work together to make a difference! Mandela Day is an occasion for all to take action and inspire change.
We have a maintanance list which can be shared upon request from Susan Harris, in which we are needing home repairs and donations towards big ticket items. Section 18A tax certificates can be arranged, where required, by a corporate or individual, who donates towards our home. Donations towards school fees and a security upgrade are essential at the moment and we ask you to consider these as an option.
18 July, which is Nelson Mandela's birthday, was declared by the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) as Nelson Mandela International Day in 2010. The celebration of this international day recognises and gives credence to the formerPresident'scommitment to human rights, conflict resolution and reconciliation.

Theme: Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg Road 2023 - Team Village Safe Haven
Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg Road 2023 from FNB Stadium, Johannesburg, is an incredible platform for recognising non-profit organisations and making it possible to raise funds for the extraordinary work that they do.

TO REGISTER: Team VSH riders need to register and pay for their entries: Enter Now. Then please email Amanda your name and ID number. You will then be added to Team VSH via a web portal. You will receive a team shirt so be sure to include your cycle shirt size when emailing Amanda. Amanda will offers the AMAZING service of collecting all Team VSH race packs from the Dome on Thursday before race day.
A Team VSH cocktail party is hosted on the Thursday before the Sunday race day, at The Village.
Our charity start time is usually between 08h30 and 09h15 (The start times will only be released after entries close and may change).
Please reference YOUR R2500 donation payment as follows: NAME + SURNAME + 947 (e.g. AMANDA DE WET 947)
Should a Tax Certificate be required, we need the following info: Name: That must appear on tax certificate, Address: Where the name on the tax certificate resides, Proof of Payment.
